Off-road with passion

In order to no longer have to get stuck with the van while surfing on the beach, Nils and Birgit Alberts built their first off-road motorhome based on a Unimog in the 1990s. After surfing and converting the Unimog, both of them discovered rallying as a new passion. The Unimog was replaced by a MAN KAT 1 and shortened from three to two axles in order to prepare it for the El Chot Rally.

With rally sport came the modifications

During an intensive time at smaller and larger rallies such as the Munich – Presslau and the Rally El Chot, experience was gained, and the interest of others in having a vehicle built by Nils and Birgit grew. The first inquiries came. What began in a small 100 square meter barn is now successfully continued in a 600 square meter hall. The construction of a further 600 square meter hall for case construction started at the beginning of 2024. From 2025, Alberts Allradtechnik will build its own GRP sandwich panels and complete GRP cases in the new hall.
